(Review) Oriflame Very Me Vinyl Lipgloss in Spicy red and Berry Kiss

Ah! How long has it been since I updated my blog? A month? Two months? A whole decade?

Lol! Sorry about that guys! School’s been keeping me real busy. But I’m back now and intend to update atleast once a month. I mean week. What’s wrong with me? -_-

Anyways, today I’m reviewing the Oriflame Very Me Vinyl Lip Glosses in Spicy red and Berry kiss.

(Review) Loreal Paris Color Protect Protecting Conditioner (The worst conditioner ever)

I know I haven’t been updating and stuff, and I’m really sorry! But I’m having my mids right now so yeah, no time.

But anyways, here’s a quick review on the WORST CONDTIONER I’ve ever used.

The only reason why I chose the Color protect conditioner was because I’d figured it would be the same as the conditioner they’d given with the Casting Crème hair dyes.

I was soooooooooooooo wrong!

(Review) Neutrogena Norwegian Formula LipBalm

Winter = Dryness = Chapped Lips

I love winter, but with winter there comes the need for extra protection of our skin.

After noticing that my lips were getting chapped and painful, I decided to buy a lip balm. I wanted to buy a LipIce lip balm but unfortunately, it’s not available where I stay. And I didn’t want a Nivea lip balm even though they’re pretty popular as I find them really greasy and heavy on my lips.

As I was going through the rack, my eyes fell on the Neutrogena lip balm, or rather, the ‘Made in Korea’ sign. And, being the Korean freak that I am, immediately bought it. It’s a love hate relationship for me. *sigh*

(Review) The Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara

I’m probably the only Indian Blogger who has not reviewed the Lakme Eyeconic Mascara! Lol!
So, after reading countless number of reviews of this mascara, I decided to give it a try.

It was hate at first try.
Literally.

When I first got it, it was so, so, SO darn watery, it clumped my lashes and it was like Welcome to Clumpville or Say hello to the Tarantula look.

(Review) The Nivea Light Feeling Daily Face Sun Fluid with SPF 50

I’d like to introduce you to the new love of my life – The Nivea Sunscreen. Yeah, sure they say Face Fluid blah, blah, blah on the cover but it’s just a fancier word for sunscreen.

I have never used a sunscreen all the sixteen years I’ve walked this earth and I’ve had enough damage done to my skin to last me a lifetime. So this time, when they announced our sports meet I knew that it was gonna be one hectic month in the sun. So to save my poor skin I decided to buy this. Plus I got a facewash worth 99 INR free! :D

(Review ) Street Wear Stay on Mineral Eyeshadow in Vivacious

“People tell me I’m lively, bouncy, full of spirit… So I guess that means I’m Vivacious, right?”

As hard as it is for to say this, I think I’ll feel better if I say it...

*takes a deep breath*

I don’t know how to choose the right colors for my skin tone.

Summer Haven (For your lips) - The LipIce lip balm in Lemon

I’m so sorry for not updating! MY journalist friend broke his camera so he needed mine and I ended up with no cam to take photos! Sigh! But now that I have it back, let the updates begin! Well not really… You see, my quarterly exams are going to start soon so… But I swear I’ll update whenever I can!
I’ve been wanting to buy this lip balm for donkey’s years, literally (No, not really!), before finally getting the opportunity to do so in Hyderabad. LipIce is unfortunately not available in Vizag so I have to order it online which I’m just too lazy to do.

(Review) Marcel Marongiu in Raspberry

I think it’s become a tradition for mom to gift me Oriflame lip glosses
for my birthday but hey! Who’s complaining? Not me, that’s for sure!
This time mom bought a Marcel Marongiu (whoever he is) lip-gloss in raspberry.

Read on to see how it scores on Unhealthy Obsessions.

(Review) Oriflame Power Shine Lip Gloss in Soft Coral

Ayo beautiful ladies! Ya’ll look lovely today! Remember – you’re precious, you’re beautiful and God loves you. ^_^

It seems to me that almost every blog post of mine contains an apology for not updating sooner and I apologize from the depths of my heart. I swear I mean to update my blog but I ended up procrastinating for so long, my internet decided to bail on me. -_-

(Review) Good Look Makeup Removal Pads

I know, I know… I’m a horrible blogger aren’t I? I seem to be MIA quite a lot and I apologize. It’s been a hectic few weeks… Packing, school, home work and no net. Sigh!

But… The good news is I’m BACK! Yaaaay! *claps excitedly*

DIY Face Peel For Hypersensitive Skin

I think my hypersensitive skin is the bane of my life. I have a tough time finding stuff which actually suits my face. Lemons or anything citrus for that matter of fact don’t work. Luckily honey does and I praise God for that.

Also, being a student, I have a limited budget which means I’m always on the search for DIY recipes which don’t mess with my skin or my money. I’m very stingy you see.

So now, I proudly present to you a DIY face peel which won’t mess with your skin even if your skin is hypersensitive and it goes easy on your pocket. Real easy.

Ingredients required:
One egg white

Tissue paper (It should be thin)

Procedure:
Once you separate the egg yolk and the egg white, make scrambled egg with the yolk so that it doesn't get spoiled.

Rub the egg white all around your face and then place the tissue on your face. I used a toilet roll and then separated the two papers. If you are patient you can cut out holes for you eyes, nostrils and lips or if you’re like me, just stick it on and tear away the extra paper. Also, try not to do this is front of kids because I assure you; you’ll look like an extra from the movie The Mummy Returns.

Now, rub egg white all over the tissue to keep it in place and fifteen minutes later or when dry (It’ll be stiff) just peel it off like you would a normal peel.

Results:
Face doesn’t break out into pimples.
 Your tan disappears partially.
 Your face is instantly bright.
Dark spots fade, hyper pigmentation fades and blackheads are removed.

Warning – Do not try and smell the egg whites. Under no circumstances, however much you are tempted, do not, I repeat, do not smell. I hope you guys have better control over your temptations, unlike me.

And that’s all for today folks!
Cheers,
Serena xx

DISCLAIMER: Even hypersensitive skins vary from person to person, so what may suit me may not suit you. So proceed at your own risk! J

Maybelline Water Shine Lip Gloss Review

I’m a huge fan of lip glosses. Especially those which smell yummy (yes, I’m a foodie). I decided to try the Maybelline Water Shine lip glosses only because there was a ten percent discount and because if I bought two, I’d get one free. I bought the Naked Brown, Chocolate Glitters and Caramel pearl. I was actually gonna buy the amethyst shade instead of the chocolate glitters stuff, but due to the lights (DAMN YOU YELLOW LIGHTS!) I ended up buying the wrong shade. I couldn’t even fine that label which tells you which color was which on the bottle so I was pretty much clueless.

My mini haul!

I had a break between my exams today and I felt like shopping. Enter daddy – kins (Isn’t that what Veronica Lodge calls her dad? Lol!) who agreed to take me out. The best part about going out with papa is that he never says no to anything! Lucky me right? Whenever I go out with mom, I check out all the cosmetics and then say “Um… Not now. I’ll come back later” And walk off. So anyways, I went with dad today and bought two lip glosses and then I got a third one free! :D

Nivea Pearly Shine

Okie dokie gorgeous ladies… Here’s a quick review before I’m banished to my room to study… “Oh prince charming thy knight! Please save this fair lady in distress from the flames of studies!” Okay! I suck at writing drama! Lol! It should be obvious from the fact that there are a lot of mistakes in the above line.

I’ve been wanting to buy this product for a long time and when I finally did, I was glad! This is one of the best body washes I’ve ever used!

Maybelline Baby Lips Mango Pie Review

I for one am totally loving the new range of lip care by Maybelline New York. Baby lips really lives up to it's name and everything that it claims. I bought 'Mango Pie' which is the un - tinted lip balm and totally love it. From it's fruity smell to the lasting power of the moisture.

ELLE 18 Black Out Liner Review

I'm not a liquid eyeliner person. I usually use pencil eyeliners. Why? Well I'm kind of inexperienced when it comes to handling and putting on liquid eyeliner. I always... ALWAYS used to end up looking like a raccoon. Either that or else I looked as if I'd been crying and instead of tears, black eyeliner poured out. But I've FINALLY managed to conquer liquid eyeliner and i'm here with a review of the Elle 18 Black Out! Liner.

Lotus Herbals Kajal Review

I have a feeling my friends are getting sick and tired of me complaining about not finding the perfect kajal.... So I'm here with my review of Lotus Herbals Natural Kajal. I've heard a lot about it but I'm a bit disappointed with it.

Elle 18 Kajal Review

I'm a little fussy. OK! A LOT fussy. I can never seem to find a kajal which matches my requirements. And this resulted in me starting a kajal quest.
I decided to start with ELLE 18 because it looked promising... But honestly I'm a bit disappointed with it.
